Katrina Halili seeks NBI probe into the sex video in the internet

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said on Wednesday Dr. Hayden Kho would be grilled as the bureau started investigating into a controversial sex video posted on You Tube.

This was bared by NBI Director Nestor Mantaring after actress Katrina Halili had sought the help of the NBI to conduct an investigation into the uploading and circulation of an alleged sex video of her and Dr. Kho.

Mantaring said Halili is set to undergo psychological and psychiatric tests.

Halili was accompanied by Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and her lawyers when she arrived at the Office of Mantaring at 2 p.m. today.

“Definitely, we will summon Dr. Kho,” Mantaring told reporters after a closed-door meeting with Halili and her companions.

The meeting lasted for almost an hour and Halili and her group left the office of Mantaring by passing through the backdoor to avoid the media people who flocked the NBI Director’s Office.

“Okay naman siya. Katrina Halili, together with Senator Bong Revilla, arrived here to file a complaint against Dr. Hayden Kho. She did not give details. And we will take her statement today (Wednesday),” said Mantaring when asked if Halili was emotional when she talked to him.

Mantaring said Dr. Cynthia Alcuaz of the NBI Neuro-Psychiatric System had an initial interview with the actress.

“She (Halili) will under psychological and psychiatric tests,” the NBI director said.

Mantaring said the focus of the probe is the determination of the possible crimes.

“We will look into the possible crimes like violation against women and children and the computer crimes, possibly the cyber sex crime,” he added.

Mantaring tapped the Anti-Fraud and Computer Crimes Division (AFCCD) and the Violence Against Women and Children Division (VAWCD) to investigate the complaint. (PNA) scs/JES
